Donations
Donations of any amount are really appreciated and help the Society to provide resources that are urgently needed to assist renal patients. WRKS is almost totally dependent on the goodwill and generosity of the public to help the increasing number of New Zealanders affected by kidney disease.
You can be become involved by making a donation.
The following methods of payment are available:
- Make a cheque payable to the Wellington Region Kidney Society Inc [or WRKS] and mail to:
PO Box 7302, Wellington South, 6242 or
- Make a payment directly to the WRKS Bank Account - 01 0509 0135602 00
Donations will be receipted and are eligible for tax deduction.
The Wellington Region Kidney Society Inc. works to improve the lives of renal patients. We are dedicated to assisting those in need as well as close family members. If you would like to become a regular donor please call the Society’s Office on: 05084kidney or 0508 4543639.
Bequests
After you have taken care of your loved ones, choosing to leave a bequest in your Will to the Wellington Region Kidney Society is a splendid way to help people who are faced with an uncertain future.
Bequests are very welcome in any amount and can be simply provided for in your Will. It is recommended that you consult your legal advisor when making or modifying a Will to ensure that your specific wishes are fully understood.
In the event you prefer to make your bequest for a particular area of interest, please discuss with our Administration Officer on: 05084kidney or 0508 4543639. By relating to us what is important to you, we will be able to suggest how your gift, pledged through your Will, can greatly assist the Society.
